Privacy policy

Last updated: 4 November 2026

HomeBloc ("we") helps home buyers form groups and negotiate with builders. This notice explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and, for visitors in the UK and EU, the GDPR.

What we collect

Why we use it

We never share your personal details with a builder or seller without your explicit permission, given for a specific offer. We do not sell your data.

Cookies and measurement tools

We use Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel and Conversions API, and Microsoft Clarity to measure visits and ad results. When you submit the form, a scrambled (hashed) version of your email and phone number may be sent to Google and Meta to measure which ads worked. Your budget, loan status and other financial details are never sent to advertising platforms. Visitors in the UK and EU are asked for consent before these tools load.

Who processes your data

Our hosting provider, our spreadsheet/CRM provider (Google Workspace), the measurement tools above, and our team members who contact you. Each is used only for the purposes above.

How long we keep it

Up to 24 months after our last contact with you, or until you ask us to delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, withdraw consent, or nominate someone to act for you. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect anything we did before. Contact our Grievance Officer: Akash (Founder), privacy@homebloc.in. We aim to reply within 7 days. If unsatisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
